About The Legendary ‘Tuesday Night Funk Jam’ House Band:
Asheville’s longest-running weekly musical event. EVERY Tuesday at Asheville Music Hall! This weekly jam is an amazing opportunity for musicians to network and refine their musical chops AND for the people who support our scene to shake their hips to the best funk around! For more than a decade this has been THE event to experience in Asheville USA. 11pm – 2am. Past walk-ons have included members of Phish, Mumford & Sons, Amy Winehouse Band, Marcus King Band, Ohio Players, George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic, Lettuce, etc. The House Band is always represented with members of Granola Funk Express, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, The Fritz, Empire Strikes Brass, Siamese Sound Club, and many more. You gotta see it to believe it!
