About The Nude Party:
For The Nude Party, nearly a decade has flown by in the blink of an eye. In that time, the New York-based band has released a pair of well-received albums, an EP, and played countless shows. Prior to the pandemic, the band was really starting to hit its stride. They had a system in place and were spreading their brand of melodic rock to the masses. In fact, they could count Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, and Orville Peck as vocal supporters, which led to support slots for each. Soon, incredible live appearances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Newport Folk Festival, and Shaky Knees became the norm.
Over the course of the last two years, The Nude Party decided to produce their new album, Rides On, themselves. With the help of Matthew Horner, The Nude Party had as much fun creating as they ever had at any other point in their career. Their new album includes 14 songs that dabble in electro-pop and stripped-down country. The Nude Party coalesced and embraced the spirit of collaboration. They’re excited to begin the next chapter of their career.
At a time when it would have been easy to pack it in, the band continues to persevere.
About The Silver Doors:
The Silver Doors is a rock band based in Asheville, NC that blends elements of
psychedelic rock, garage, blues, and more. The Appalachian mountains they call home
are reflected in the violin arrangements as well as the tendency to dip into blues
voicings and styles. Punk basslines, four-on-the-floor backbeats and reverb-drenched
guitar riffs creep in to top off this synthesization that you could call Appalachian Psych
Rock.
Their debut album is out now. It was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Drop of Sun
Studios in Asheville, NC with Alex Farrar and Lawson Alderson at the helm.
The Silver Doors is Brett Kent on bass and vocals, Bryce Alberghini on drums, Justin
Lawrence on violin, and Alex Cox on guitar and vocals.
About Kelly Morris:
Kelly Morris is a seasoned musician who has been captivating audiences since his teenage years. With a
voice reminiscent of the iconic Jeff Buckley, Morris brings a hauntingly beautiful quality to his
performances that leaves a lasting impression on all who listen. Having toured with blues legend BB King and opened for him on several dates, Morris has honed his craft on stages across the country. His guitar playing style, influenced by his early studies in classical guitar, is a unique blend of precision and emotion that sets him apart in the music scene.
Drawing from a diverse musical background that includes hill country blues and the intricate fingerpicking of Chet Atkins, Morris’s sound is a testament to his wide-ranging influences. However, it was the soulful sounds of artists like Otis Redding, Al Green, and Sam Cooke that truly spoke to Morris’s heart and soul, leading him to find his own voice through the power of soul music.
With a passion for storytelling and a gift for connecting with his audience, Kelly Morris is a talented
musician on the rise. Keep an eye out for this rising star as he continues to captivate listeners with his
soulful vocals, masterful guitar playing, and heartfelt performances.
